Choose an answer to continue. If you don't know, choose “Not sure” , it isn't counted against you.

What does this marketing quality assessment cover?

The questions cover five areas: getting found, clear messaging, building trust, winning customers and knowing what works. Together they give you a simple view of where your marketing is strong and where it needs attention.

It suits small business owners whether you manage marketing yourself or work with an agency. Your grade is a self-assessment based only on the answers you give , it does not scan your website or compare you against industry data.

How your grade is calculated

There are five areas , getting found, clear messaging, building trust, winning customers and knowing what works. Each area has three questions and each area counts for the same 20% of your overall score.

Each answer is worth 0, 25, 50, 75 or 100. An area's score is the average of the questions you answered in it. Your overall score is the average of the five area scores, rounded to a whole number. Grades: A+ 90–100, A 80–89, B 70–79, C 60–69, D 50–59, E 40–49, F 0–39.

“Not sure” is not counted as zero , it is left out of the maths and listed as something to check. If an area has fewer than two answers we don't grade it, and if any area is ungraded we don't give an overall grade at all.

This grade is based on your own answers. It is not an independent audit of your website and it is not an industry benchmark.
